Easily soluble in water, it has excellent decontamination, emulsification, foaming and hard water resistance properties, and its mild washing properties will not damage the skin. It is widely used in washing cosmetics such as shampoo, bath liquid, dishwashing detergent, compound soap, etc. It is used as wetting agent and detergent in the textile industry, and can also be used as anionic surfactant.

At high temperatures (above 50 degrees Celsius) or in acidic (pH=5) environments, alkyl ether sulfates may decompose. The reason for decomposition is due to the hydrolysis of alkyl ether sulfates. In view of the alkyl ether sulfate Salt is easily hydrolyzed at high temperatures. This product should avoid storage in an environment above 50 degree.

Without a viscosity modifier, diluting AES into an aqueous solution containing 30% or 60% active substance often results in a highly viscous gel. To avoid this phenomenon, the correct method is to add highly active products to the specified amount of water and stir them at the same time. Do not add water to highly active ingredients as this may cause gel formation.
